Douglas County Bridge Repair & Mitigation on CO 67, CO 83 & CO 86

Crews on this project will complete work to mitigate damage to four bridges at the following locations in Douglas County:

Colorado Highway 67:

East Plum Creek (about mile point 126.7)

West Plum Creek (about mile point 126.5)

Colorado Highway 83 (aka, South Parker Road) at Antelope Creek (between mile points 41 and 41.3)

Colorado Highway 86 at Cherry Creek (at mile point 6.47)

Project Facts

  • Location: Four locations in Douglas County:
Specifically, crews will:
  • remove sediment around the base of the bridge that compromises its integrity;
  • excavate;
  • pack rocks and other material along the bridge's foundation and elsewhere to prevent erosion and sediment buildup; and
  • landscape.

  • Travelers can expect minimal traffic impacts as work will take place off each road.
