Nondiscrimination, Workplace Violence, & Complaints


All contractors on the project must have an EEO Policy in place, and must practice nondiscrimination according to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act when selecting subcontractors. All contractors must also have an Affirmative Action Plan and a Workplace Violence Policy. 


Should an employee have a discrimination complaint, they can file an official complaint with CDOT's Civil Rights & Business Resource Center. The CRBRC will then work with the Region Civil Rights Office to establish next steps. 

General employment complaints should be thoroughly documented and the identity of the complainant should remain confidential. Contact your Regional Civil Rights Office for support with addressing an employment complaint.
