Major DBE Changes are Effective on CDOT's NPS Contracts!

New contract language / structure, monitoring, and enforcement mechanisms for DBE participation on Non-Project Specific (NPS) Professional Services contracts are in effect for all NEW NPS advertisements as of 1/1/2020.*

Key changes include:

  • New contract language
  • Updated Civil Rights Scoring criteria
  • Optional DBE goal re-evaluation process
  • New DBE commitment tracking process
  • Updated enforcement mechanisms per Task Order 

Training:

Prime consultants - avoid sanctions and educate yourself on CDOT's new NPS contract process. Attend one of CDOT's half-day, interactive workshops to learn in-depth details about the upcoming NPS contract and process changes, effective as of 1/1/2020.
