Incentives

In conjunction with the Steering Committee, the CRBRC is actively working to develop meaningful incentives for participation in the Mentor-Protégé Program. Teams participating in the 2019 cohort will have an opportunity to provide front-line input into these conversations.

Existing incentives for Mentors include:
  • Program Input: Advisory role for the development of new program incentives
  • Industry Recognition: Public acknowledgement from CDOT and Industry Associations
  • Exclusive Networking: Invitations to events with CDOT staff, executive leadership, and the Transportation Commission

Existing incentives for Protégés include:

  • Technical Assistance: Supportive services and access to retired CDOT staff
  • Industry Recognition: Public acknowledgement from CDOT and Industry Associations
  • Exclusive Networking: Invitations to events with CDOT staff, executive leadership, and the Transportation Commission

Depending on feasibility, future incentives for Teams may include:

  • Bidding preferences
  • Proposal scoring preferences
  • Alternative delivery teaming credits

CDOT also has baseline expectations for participating Teams, to ensure program integrity, maximize impact, and allow for reporting. Those expectations and reporting timelines will be provided to Teams at time of selection.
