Design-Bid-Build Construction Project Advertisements

*Three new projects advertised May 21, 2020

CDOT posts new advertisements on a bi-weekly schedule. Our next advertisement date is June 4, 2020. A schedule of future planned advertisement dates is available by clicking on this link - Bid Advertisement Calendar.
Electronic plans and specifications are available to registered contractors at B2G. Please be sure to do an account lookup if you are new to the system as many vendors have been entered by CDOT into the system. This will allow you to reset the password if the proper contacts were entered. Upon registration, you can find the plans and specifications or the plan holders list for each project under the "View" menu by selecting "My Bid Solicitations". 
Prime contractors are directed to our Rules Governing Construction Bidding for CDOT Projects which details the requirements of Prequalification in Section 2
All Design-Bid-Build proposals are processed electronically via Bid Express.  Primes must obtain a Digital ID for an agent identified in your prequalification registration.

NHPP 1602-167  (22024) ~ This project is in Region 5 in Archuleta county.  US 160 MP 126 to 129 Wildlife Crossing & Widening. Includes concrete animal overpass and concrete animal underpass and minor roadway widening.  The resident engineer is Jason Fullerton 970-385-8370.

An Optional On-Site Job Showing will be on Tuesday, May 19th, 2020 at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Notification of planned attendance is requested by Monday, May 18th, 2020

*ITS SW01-719 (21287) ~ This project is located in Region 5 in several counties.   This project consists of replacing 11 existing VMS's throughout Region 5.  The resident engineer is Jill Scott 303-512-5805.

*FSA R400-356 (21846) ~ This project is located in Region 4 in Weld county.  This project consists of signal pole replacements: furnishing and installing signal poles, conduit, heads, cameras, signing, curb and gutter, and pavement patching at the intersections SH 257 and SH 392 in Windsor and SH 14 and 1st Ave in Ault.  The resident engineer is Jonathan Woodworth 970-350-2166.


June 18

*SHE 016A-043 (22168) ~ This project is located in Region 2 in El Paso county.  This project will be replacing two signals and installing a new signal. The signal replacements are at the following intersections of SH 21 (Powers Blvd) at Astrozon Blvd and Hancock Expy in Colorado Springs. The new signal install will be at SH 16 (Mesa Ridge Pkwy) and Sneffels St intersection in Fountain. Included in the work, but not limited to, will include replacement of existing ADA curb ramps, sidewalks, curb and gutter work, and minor intersection improvements.  The resident engineer is Matt Jagow 719-546-5751.
