2009 CDOT Teen Seat Belt Study

The primary objectives of the study were to - Conduct a seat belt usage survey within the State of Colorado to estimate the seat belt usage of teen drivers and outboard passengers in cars, vans, SUVs, and light trucks; Design a sampling procedure that would allow the optimal selection of survey sites and be statistically representative of State usage figures; Design a methodology that would minimize sampling error and variability; Complete the study within budget with a final report filed on or before July 1, 2009.
