October 1, 2010 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - ARAPAHOE COUNTY – This weekend, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will conduct water line work under westbound Arapahoe Road just west of Parker Road.

October 1, 2010 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is closing the lower portion of the Mount Evans Highway (State Highway 5) – between Echo Lake and Summit Lake – for the season on Monday, October 4.
October 4, 2010 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER—Tonight, October 4th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will pour the deck for the new Federal Boulevard bridge over US 285 (Hampden Avenue).
October 4, 2010 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Zane Znamenacek was recently appointed to the position of Traffic and Safety Program Engineer for the Colorado Department of Transportation’s northwest region (Region 3). Znamenacek has been the Operations Engineer for CDOT’s Traffic Office for the past two years.
October 4, 2010 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - MOFFAT COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation has a second project underway to replace critical culverts under several highways in its northwest region. Work is underway through November 19, 2010, to replace steel pipe structures on US 40 west of Elk Springs and on SH 13 just north of Craig. Tricon 2, LLC, of Castle Rock was awarded this project for $684,000.

October 5, 2010 - PROJECT UPDATE – HOLIDAY WORK SUSPENSION - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - SAN MIGUEL COUNTY – Work is progressing well on the Colorado Department of Transportation’s rockfall mitigation project on SH 145 on Norwood Hill.
October 5, 2010 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - DURANGO – Nature’s Oasis and contractor Bonds Construction have begun a project to make access improvements at the US 160/550 frontage road adjacent to the store’s property.

October 6, 2010 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - DETOUR VIA COUNTY ROADS REQUIRED - TELLER COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) begins replacing the Twin Creek Bridge on U.S. 24, about one mile east of Florissant, on Thursday, October 7.

DURANGO – On Monday, October 11, the Colorado Department of Transportation Maintenance division will begin a project to improve the roadway surface on US 160/550 south of Durango.

October 7, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LARIMER COUNTY— Today, October 7th, Colorado Senator Kevin Lundberg joined the family of Justin Bauer to designate a five-mile portion of State Highway (SH ) 56 between I-25 and US 287 as the “Staff Sergeant Justin Bauer Memorial Highway.”
