CSP Appreciates Help With Checkpoint

Capt. Stephen Bellinger of the Colorado State Patrol recently wrote to Chris Kelly, LTC Ops I at Boulder for Greeley Maintenance Section 1, Region 4, regarding help his troopers received with a sobriety checkpoint on U.S. 36 on Saturday, June 30.  He wrote:

"Your crew set up a lane closure that provided for a safe transition into the area of the checkpoint.  The cone pattern, signage, and lighting not only helped ensure the safety of our officers, but also the safety of motorists traveling through the area.  This successful sobriety checkpoint would not have been possible without the outstanding work by the CDOT transportation maintenance crew."

Helping out from CDOT that night were the members of Patrol 13 at Superior: TM-II Randy Dreiling, Dale Steerman, Robert Aragon, and Justin Moulton, as well as their TM-III, Ed Gentry.
