Return of Smart Phone Pleases Citizen

Donald Travis of Aurora, CO, is very happy that a CDOT employee found his smart phone, which he inadvertently left in the restroom of the Bair Ranch Rest Area on I-70 at the east end of Glenwood Canyon on Friday, June 22.

He wrote, "I would like to give a HUGE kudo to your employee Brennon Boone (TM-I, Patrol 87 at Bair Ranch Rest Area, Grand Junction Maintenance Section 2, Region 3).  He is a wonderful, honest person who goes above and beyond his job requirements . . . . by the time I realized I had left my phone, two hours later, I could not turn around and go back.  Brennon found my phone and went to great lengths on his own time to see that I got it back.  This is a wonderful example of someone paying it forward to another person that he doesn't even know.  I hope that Brennon and CDOT will get the recognition they deserve for this kind act.  I have also sent this news tip into the 9News.  Thanks to Brennon and CDOT!"
