Courtesy Patrol Help Draws Kudo

Beth Slater of Aspen, CO, was driving on I-70 on March 3 when, as she explained it, "I blew a fuse and my car overheated."  She was stranded on the spot.

She wrote, "As a young woman traveling alone, I felt so fortunate to have the help of Roy Eggleston of the CDOT Courtesy Patrol.  I misplaced the paper with the name of the Courtesy Patrol's supervisor and phone number, but I hope that this gets to him, and that Roy is recognized for his outstanding work.  This is a GOOD use of CDOT funds and tax dollars.  As a longtime Coloradan, I'm very appreciative of this program."

Eggleston has received kudos from motorists in the past for his efforts to assist them on weekends and holiday periods along the busy I-70 corridor from Denver to Vail.  Eggleston is an employee of CDOT contractor Extreme Towing, Inc.
