Kansas Family Helped at Tunnels

Mike Zegers and his family, who hail from Kansas, left Silverthorne on July 10 for their return trip home.  They reached the east portal of the Johnson Tunnel on I-70 when their car stopped.  Mr. Zegers wrote,

"Your workers at the tunnel were very helpful and courteous.  They took the time to make sure that our car was safely moved, and then told us what they thought was the matter and how to resolve it."

Like many others before them, the Zegerses found that if you are destined for car trouble, the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnels may be a very good place for it because help is available there around the clock every day of the year, regardless of the weather.

"We are appreciative of the time taken to make sure we were well taken care of," Mike Zegers wrote.  "If you could pass this along, that would be wonderful."

Helping the Zegers family that day was Neal Lawson, TM-II for Maintenance Section 9, Region 1.
