Kudos for Flood Repair Work

Venus Masakowski, who lives in the New Orleans area, visited Colorado a few weeks after the devastating September floods to check on her cabin at Estes Park.  The trip into Estes Park took six hours from Limon.  While Masakowski was in Estes Park, SH 119 through Boulder Canyon reopened to traffic.

"The return trip was much quicker 3.5 hours to Limon," she reported.  "That meant a lot to me since I was driving by myself with my dog Belle along.  All of us who were impacted by the flood will always remember your department's dedication and tireless efforts to help us get back to our property."
