Trucking Company Appreciates Permits Section

Chris Evans of Bill Signs Trucking of Lakeside, CA, recently wrote to Danny Wells, manager of the CDOT Oversize/Overweight (OS/OW) permits section for the Maintenance & Operations Branch, to express his satisfaction about customer service his company receives from the permits section.  Evans wrote:

"It's nice to make a phone call and have someone knowledgeable and friendly answer.  We always get the answers we need and then a prompt turnaround time on the permits.

"Your crew is well managed and motivated.  As an example, I have called some agencies and waited on hold for up to 30 minutes, only to get an employee who is having a bad day, or the 'it's an inconvenience to help us.'  Then we order a permit and after waiting a day, we call numerous times for an update only to be left on hold.

"It's refreshing to deal with agencies like Colorado DOT.  That makes it seamless to keep our drivers moving.  My compliments to your staff," Evans concluded.

The kudo goes to the entire Permits Section team.  In addition to Wells, they are:
