US 34/Kersey Repair Appreciated

Brenda Harms, who worked for the Colorado Department of Highways for 19 1/2 years and currently lives just a couple of miles south of where the South Platte River flooded and washed out U.S. 34 between Greeley and Kersey, called CDOT Office of Communications on Oct. 2 to compliment CDOT workers who played key roles in getting U.S. 34 opened again on Oct. 1 following flooding in mid-September.

"Thank you to everyone who helped make that happen," Harms said.  "It's so wonderful of you all to get that highway open for us."
