Colorado Organizations Interested in Transit Funding

THE 2021 CONSOLIDATED CALL FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS DEADLINE WAS OCTOBER 12, 2020

PLEASE WATCH FOR OUR NEXT NOTICE POSTING

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Division of Transit and Rail (DTR) is pleased to announce its annual Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the 2021 Consolidated Call for Capital Projects (2021 CCCP).- THIS SPECIFIC NOFA HAS NOW CLOSED.

Attached is the NOFA, which provides important information such as Applicant Eligibility, Project Eligibility, the deadline, and amounts of available funding. Please review the NOFA thoroughly because CDOT has updated the NOFA to address issues and concerns from COVID-19 impacts and attempted to provide more instructions and guidance for completing the application.

For current CDOT sub-recipients who have active accounts in COTRAMS (CDOT’s online award management system), CDOT will be releasing one application of each capital application type in the system:  1) Revenue Service Vehicle application; and 2) Other Capital application.

For organizations that are not currently CDOT sub-recipients and don't have COTRAMS accounts, please fill out the attached New Applicant Questionnaire first, so CDOT can screen your eligibility for receiving funds prior to having you set up in COTRAMS and releasing online applications. Please send the completed New Applicant Questionnaire to Ken Mooney at [email protected] as soon as possible but no later than September 21, 2020, 11:59 PM.

If you have questions regarding Vehicle applications or Other Capital applications, or need more applications to be released, please contact Ken Mooney at [email protected].

If you are going to apply for vehicle(s) using CDOT’s ADA Accessible Cutaway and/or ADA Accessible Van Price Agreements, please contact Ann Beauvais (719-447-7623 or [email protected]) at RAE Consultants to prepare your application cost estimate. The CDOT Cutaway and Van Price Agreement application and order details are attached to this NOFA.

For organizations interested in applying for the Settlement Program, please be sure to fill out the attached Settlement Program Supplemental Questions and attach it within your COTRAMS Settlement Program application. If you have questions regarding the Settlement Program, please contact Michael King at [email protected].

Questions about Civil Rights can be directed to Marie Nakagawa at [email protected].

If you have any other general questions regarding the NOFA, please feel free to reach out to Qing Lin at [email protected].
