US 36 McCaslin Bridge Work Completed Early, Aug. 27 & 28 Closures Cancelled

August 27, 2014 - Metro Denver Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - LOUISVILLE/SUPERIOR – Crews on the US 36 Express Lanes Project completed the planned work on the McCaslin Boulevard bridge ahead of schedule; therefore, CDOT will no longer be closing eastbound and westbound US 36 tonight and tomorrow night (Aug. 27 & 28), as originally scheduled.

US 36 Closures to Continue Tonight, June 17, for McCaslin Demolition

June 17, 2014 - UPDATED SCHEDULE - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - SUPERIOR/LOUISVILLE – As part of the US 36 Express Lanes Project, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will continue lane closures on June 17 in order to complete the partial demolition of the McCaslin Boulevard bridge over US 36.

Full US 36 Closure Between Interlocken Loop and McCaslin Boulevard

April 10, 2014 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - SUPERIOR/LOUISVILLE – As part of the US 36 Express Lanes Project, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close eastbound and westbound US 36 overnight from Interlocken Loop to McCaslin Boulevard on Friday, April 11, 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Work Begins on McCaslin Diverging Diamond Interchange

March 26, 2014 - Metro Denver Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - BROOMFIELD – Work is starting on the US 36 Express Lanes Project’s Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI), a traffic management design that enables free left turns at the ramp intersections. Part of Phase 2 of the project, the new DDI will replace the current McCaslin Boulevard intersection to extend the operational life of the interchange.

March 7, 2014 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - BROOMFIELD – As part of the US 36 Express Lanes Project, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close eastbound and westbound US 36 overnight from Interlocken Loop to McCaslin Boulevard on Saturday, March 8, 10 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

CDOT Releases US 36 Concession Agreement

February 14, 2014 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1, Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - CDOT released the concession agreement for the US 36 corridor today upon further discussion with its partner Plenary Roads Denver.
