CO 151 Sambrito Creek Flow Improvements

From September through mid-November 2018, crews improved water flow in the Sambrito Creek by removing metal culverts and replaced them with concrete box culverts. The concrete will not only help improve water flow but also will provide a more structurally sound crossing.
Other work will included:
- widening the highway shoulder by one to six feet throughout the site;
- paving with asphalt;
- adding new pavement markings; and
- installing guardrail.
