From Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, to Novemebr 2017, crews on this project built an access road from the Vail Pass Recreation Trail to a large sediment basin along Black Gore Creek, on the north side of I-70.

The access road enables CDOT to more efficiently remove the sediment from the basin in the future.
