Northbound I-25 Closed Saturday, April 9 Overnight

On Saturday, April 9 from 10 p.m. to Sunday, April 10, 8 a.m., northbound I-25 between the south Nevada Avenue/Tejon Street and Cimarron Street/US 24 exits will be closed. Lane restrictions will begin at 8 p.m. This closure is required for drainage work. Traffic will detour via northbound Nevada Avenue to Cimarron Street. CLICK HERE to view detour map. Watch for clearly marked detour signs to direct you.

The detour route does not support vehicles with a profile height of more than 14 feet 9 inches due to a Union Pacific Railroad overpass located on south Nevada Avenue, just east of Mill Street. Vehicles requiring a clearance higher than 14 feet 9 inches should use an alternative route during this closure.

On Sunday, April 10 through Thursday, April 14 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, motorists will experience various single lane restrictions on eastbound and westbound Cimarron Street/US 24 (between 8th Street and I-25). These lane restrictions are required for continued pier work for the realignment of the I-25 bridge over Cimarron Street/US 24.
