Traffic Impacts - Sept. 17 to Sept. 23
Please be advised of the following lane closures and restrictions for next week for the US 385 Resurfacing North of Holyoke project in Phillips County.
**Date Change - Upcoming Travel Advisory - Sept 25 to Oct 6 - Milling and paving operations will take place Monday to Friday during this upcoming two-week period from Johnson St. to the Phillips County Event Center. Daily alternating lane closures will exist on US 385 and side streets will be temporarily closed (except Gordon and Kellogg) during working hours. Restricted on-street parking will also exist. This work was originally scheduled for Sept. 18-26 but had to be postponed due to weather.**

Monday, Sept. 18 to Friday, Sept. 22 - US 385 - Mile Point 280 to MP 289 - Resurfacing work
- Single lane closures will be in place in both directions of US 385 just north of Holyoke from MP 280 to MP 289
- The closures will exist from 6:30 a.m. to approx. 7 p.m.
- Some Saturday work is expected
- Lane closures with alternating traffic flows will not exceed a distance of two miles
- Closures will not overlap
- Flaggers and/or pilot cars will be present to manage alternating northbound/southbound traffic flows
- Motorists can expect delays up to 10 minutes during traffic holds
- Variable message boards, advanced warning signs and devices will be present to alert motorists to the closures and work underway
- All construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change
Work includes milling and paving.

Monday, Sept. 18 to Friday, Sept. 22 - US 385 - MP 278.43 to MP 279.50 &
US 6 - MP 454 to MP 454.6 - ADA Ramp Work
- Shoulder closures and intermittent single lane closures will be in place on US 385 within the city limits from Mile Point 278.43 to approx. MP 279.50
- Flaggers, signs and construction devices will be present to manage alternating traffic flows
- Work will be performed at all four corners of various intersections on US 385 from Johnson to Bignel streets
- The closures will exist from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and occasionally on Saturdays
- Intermittent shoulder closures will also be taken on US 6 from the US 385 intersection east to S. Worley Ave for curb ramp work
- Flaggers will be present to manage pedestrian traffic during concrete pours
- On-street parking will be temporarily restricted during ramp work activities with construction cones and other devices in place
- The shoulder closures will be mobile with no impacts to traffic
- Partial sidewalk closures will also exist with signs and construction devices in place to manage pedestrian traffic
- Signage will exist to alert motorists and pedestrians to the work
- All construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change
Work includes ADA curb ramp removals and concrete pours.
