  • Work hours and locations:  7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Wadsworth Blvd between 6th Avenue and Yale
  • Through October 2019, expect single-lane closures and minor delays on Wadsworth Boulevard between 4th Avenue and Yale Avenue as crews remove asphalt and repave.
  • This work requires the use of vehicle back-up alarms, which will cause increased noise levels.

Crews on this project are repairing more than three miles of Wadsworth Boulevard (aka Colorado Highway 121) between Hampden Avenue and US Highway 6 in the City of Lakewood. Specific work includes:

  • installing and replacing 81 concrete curb ramps to comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act;
  • resurfacing and patching;
  • adjusting manholes;
  • installing signs; and
  • restriping the highway.
