CO 83 Lighted Median Addition from E. Mississippi to E. Harvard Avenues

For this project, crews will install a raised, lighted center median on Parker Road between E. Mississippi Avenue and E. Harvard Avenue in Denver and Arapahoe counties to increase safety and reduce crossover crashes.

Crews will begin installing 18 concrete median islands and 35-foot light poles t the south end of the project limits on Parker Road and will work their way north.

Schedule & Traffic Impacts

  • Work started on Feb. 12, 2018, and is expected to be complete by mid-August 2018.
  • Work will take place Mondays through Fridays, with daytime and nighttime closures along Parker Road.
    • One lane will be open in each direction.
