County-Wide Coordination Meetings

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will partner with county agencies and stakeholders to convene County-Wide Coordination Meetings. Participants of these meetings include county, city, and town representatives who will meet on an agreed-upon schedule in order to discuss upcoming projects, ongoing projects, and maintenance activities. Federal and state agencies and special interest groups may also be involved in these meetings.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Determine the frequency of meetings with CDOT and other stakeholders within the county to discuss upcoming projects, ongoing projects, and maintenance activities.
  • Review project alternatives and options to ensure consistency with CSS Guidance
  • Appoint representatives to the Project Leadership Team (PLT)

Membership

  • The County-Wide Coordination Meetings are comprised of participants from:
  • Cities and towns within the project limits
  • Counties encompassed by the project limits
  • Other state and federal agencies with interests in the project limits
  • Local interest groups and organizations relevant to the project goals

Other community leaders may be appointed to the team as appropriate.
