Construction Phasing Image

Crews will continue with geotechnical boring to characterize the soil and the rock to determine its strength so that properly designed foundations for the structures will be built. Soil testing has begun to determine how it can be reused on the project. Pavement testing will occur on local streets. Other crews will conduct locates for current utilities to assist design and survey. Construction activities are weather and site-condition dependent and schedules are subject to change.

  • The Central 70 Project Office will be located north of I-70 at Steele/Vasquez. Please watch for crews entering and exiting the work area as they prepare the site.
