Swansea Community Cover Workshop - Thursday, April 7, 2016

CDOT invites you to a public meeting to gather input on the cover, wall and bridge design features of the Central 70 Project (formerly the I-70 East Project).

Please join CDOT, DPS and the City and County of Denver to provide your input on the latest design concepts for the new 4-acre Swansea Community Cover. We are reaching the final stages in determining what features this unique and exciting community space will include and want your thoughts.

CDOT will also present three design concepts for other elements of the Central 70 Project, including noise walls, retaining walls and gateway elements.

Public Hearings on the Final Environmental Impact Statement

Three public hearings were held in February 2016 to provide information about the I-70 East Final EIS and the Preferred Alternative. The same information was presented at each meeting. A copy of the Final EIS and a list of document viewing locations are also available at, along with the meeting minutes from the February 2016 public hearings.

In August 2015, CDOT and HPTE held a series of three corridor-wide public meetings and a telephone town hall meeting. These meetings provided updates on the I-70 East Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) status, public-private partnerships and the next steps in the process – the Request for Proposals (RFP).
