Weekly Update: Nov. 4, 2016
ACC will be shifting traffic lanes around on CO 62 Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5, as we begin removing asphalt on the north side of CO 62 from the bridge to Lena Street. There will be delays Saturday turning on to North Lena and North Railroad, and turning into the secondhand store and medical center. Flaggers will try to limit delays.
The good news is, following Saturday's work, drivers should be able to turn left into/out of all businesses because crews will no longer occupy the middle of the road.
Paving and striping will occur on Cora street from Clinton to CO 62 on Monday, Nov. 7. This work will require a closure of Cora Street the evening of Sunday, Nov. 6, which will open following the paving and striping. Crews will continue to work on sidewalks and concrete work as weather allows—including parking lot access, which will be closed for three to four days mid-week for curing.
You will continue to see a variety of small projects happening throughout town as we work to get things done before the winter shutdown. Please be cognizant of traffic control devices and personnel, and equipment moving in and around town.
Tuesday is election day; don't forget to turn in your ballot.
