US 40 & CO 121 Traffic Signal Upgrades in Denver and Golden

 Project Complete!

On Thursday, March 18, CDOT and contractor Lumin8 (formerly WL Contractors) installed one of Colorado’s first 85-foot mast arms at the intersection of Wadsworth Boulevard and Stanford Avenue in Denver during night work operations. The new mast arms increase signal visibility for motorists traveling towards and through the intersection. We invite you to look at the attached photos to see the work that was done.

85-foot mast arms have also been installed at the other two projects locations, Wadsworth Boulevard & 29th Avenue in Wheat Ridge, and Interplaza West and Colfax Avenue in Golden. To date, crews have installed new traffic signals at all three locations. Remaining work includes activating the new traffic signals and the installation of Americans with Disabilities (ADA) compliant curb ramps. The project is expected to be complete in May 2021.
