Safety PlanThe Strategic Highway Safety Plan, most recently released in 2006, is being up- dated for 2014. Its goals are to assess the progress made by past policies and guide CDOT in making investment, planning, and programing decisions related to highway safety in the future. Safety GrantsThe CDOT Office of Transportation Safety (OTS) offers grants to agencies, organizations, and tribal governments within the State of Colorado that provide programs, projects, services, and strategies that are intended to reduce the number of deaths and serious injuries resulting from traffic crashes on Colorado roads. |
Work ZoneEvery year, CDOT embarks on hundreds of construction projects across the state, in addition to conducting numerous maintenance activities everyday to keep our highways safe. This section focuses on safe driving tips in work zones, safety statistics, and other related information. |
