Tuesday Black, CDOT Highway Safety Office, and her familyTuesday Black is the new community traffic safety grant manager with the Highway Safety Office at CDOT. As a native of Colorado, Tuesday’s career path started as a law enforcement victim advocate in southern Weld County. After graduating with her master’s degree, Tuesday accepted a 17th Judicial District probation officer position. She worked in various positions at Adams County Probation over a 13-year period. Thereafter, she moved into the problem solving court coordinator role for Denver Drug Court. Her oversight included the RESTART program, Denver's felony DUI program. After four years with Denver, Tuesday made a career change and joined MADD Colorado's team. She executed the Court Monitoring Program across Colorado and recently implemented the program in Wyoming. Tuesday has experience writing and managing federal, state and local grants. She has a passion for working toward executing programs and maintaining stability. Tuesday and her family enjoy visiting their mountain property, hiking and spending time cooking together.
