About the Project
CDOT is improving the Drew Dix Parkway/Dillon Drive interchange at I-25 (exit 104). Project benefits include improving traffic operations and mobility between Drew Dix Parkway, Dillon Drive and I-25.
This project constructs a roundabout at the intersection of Drew Dix Parkway and the I-25 west frontage road. The southbound I-25 off-ramp at Drew Dix Parkway will be realigned to utilize the new roundabout. The roundabout design will improve safety by eliminating existing conflicts associated with two closely spaced intersections on the west side of I-25.
A frontage road will be built between Drew Dix Parkway and Dillon Drive on the east side of I-25. This one-way northbound connection will run parallel to I-25 between the existing roundabout at Dillon Drive over I-25 and the Drew Dix Parkway/northbound I-25 on-ramp intersection.
This $10-million project builds on improvements made in 2016 as part of the Dillon Drive Interchange Project. SEMA Construction is the prime contractor. Construction completion is anticipated in fall 2024.
