Drew Dix Parkway/Dillon Drive at I-25
Interchange Improvements

Construction starts soon on Drew Dix Parkway/Dillon Drive at I-25 interchange improvements

The Colorado Department of Transportation and SEMA Construction will make safety and mobility improvements to the Drew Dix Parkway/Dillon Drive interchange at Interstate 25 (exit 104) starting in mid-March.

The contractor will construct a roundabout at the intersection of Drew Dix Parkway and the I-25 west frontage road. The southbound I-25 off-ramp at Drew Dix Parkway will be realigned to utilize the new roundabout.

A frontage road will be built between Drew Dix Parkway and Dillon Drive on the east side of I-25. This one-way northbound connection will run parallel to I-25 between the existing roundabout at Dillon Drive over I-25 and the Drew Dix Parkway/northbound I-25 on-ramp intersection.

Project Background

CDOT is improving the Drew Dix Parkway/Dillon Drive interchange at I-25 (exit 104). Project benefits include improving traffic operations and mobility between Drew Dix Parkway, Dillon Drive and I-25. The roundabout design will improve safety by eliminating existing conflicts associated with two closely spaced intersections on the west side of I-25.

This $10-million project builds on improvements made in 2016 as part of the Dillon Drive Interchange Project. Construction completion is anticipated in fall 2024.

Travel Impacts

  • Through traffic on I-25 will not be impacted by construction
  • Access to all properties will be maintained during the project
  • Anticipated work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Infrequent night and weekend work may be necessary for some construction activities
  • All work is weather-dependent, and the schedule is subject to change
