Southbound I-25 off-ramp / Drew Dix Parkway intersection temporary traffic configuration starts June 4
The Colorado Department of Transportation is making safety and mobility improvements to the Drew Dix Parkway / Dillon Drive interchange at Interstate 25 (exit 104). Construction does not directly impact I-25. However, drivers exiting or entering I-25 at this location will travel through the work zone.
Crews are currently preparing to shift traffic into a temporary configuration near the southbound I-25 off-ramp / Drew Dix Parkway intersection overnight on Saturday, June 3. The new configuration will be in place by 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 4. The southbound I-25 off-ramp will shift west to combine with Drew Dix Parkway and the west frontage road at a new temporary intersection. The west frontage road and Drew Dix Parkway will have stop signs while the southbound I-25 off-ramp will be given the right-of-way at the intersection. Access to all businesses will be maintained.
This traffic pattern is expected to remain in place for several months while the roundabout is constructed. This arrangement will eliminate several traffic pattern changes by providing a large work area for roundabout construction.
