• Motorists can expect a single lane closure switching to alternating left/right double lane closures on westbound I-70 within the project limits during overnight hours on Tuesday, Oct. 24, with a backup date of Thursday, Oct. 26, in the event of inclement weather
• The traffic shift will last from 7 p.m. to approx. 6 a.m.
• A single westbound lane closure will be in place each night at 7 p.m., switching to double lane closures at approx. 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning
• These double lane closures may snake from left to right while crews restripe lanes and realign traffic
• The westbound I-70 Ward Road on ramp will also be closed overnight Oct. 24 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., with detour signage in place (please refer to the map below)
• The westbound I-70 Ward Road off ramp will remain open each night
• The project limits extend from Ward Road/CO 72 (Exit 266) to CO 58/Golden (Exit 265) 
• The suggested detour route to access westbound I-70 is: W. 44th Ave.to Youngfield St., and west to W. 40th Ave. to Clear Creek Drive to enter westbound I-70 at Exit 264 (Clear Creek Dr/32nd Ave)
• The detour will add approximately 2 miles and 5 minutes to travel times
• Uniformed traffic control personnel, variable message boards, signs and construction devices will be present to alert motorists to the closures
• Motorists can expect delays and alternate routes are advised
• All construction schedules are weather and supply dependent and subject to change
