Revised Traffic Impacts - Feb. 11 to Feb. 17
Please be advised of the following revised traffic impacts, restrictions and planned work for next week for the Phase 3 Southwest Quadrant Improvements US 6 and Wadsworth Boulevard project in Jefferson County. All change are noted in red.

Overnight Impacts
New - Monday, Feb. 12 & Tuesday, Feb. 13 - eastbound US 6 - single overnight lane closures
- Single overnight right lane closures will be taken on eastbound US 6 from Carr St. to the Wadsworth Blvd. interchange during overnight hours on Monday and Tuesday
- These closures were originally planned for Feb. 7 and Feb. 8
- The closures will be in place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- The project limits are confined to Mile Point 280.36 to MP 280.84
- All construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change
Work includes installing temporary barrier.

Weekday Impacts
Wednesday, Feb. 14 to Friday, Feb. 16 - W. 6th Ave Frontage Road - weekday block to block closures
- Daily block to block closures will begin on Wednesday instead of Monday, as originally planned
- The block closures will exist along the Frontage Road south of US 6 from west of Meadowlark Drive to the Wadsworth Blvd. off-ramp, with minor detours to adjacent side streets
- The closures will be taken from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. during working days
- Work will progress from west to east
- Flaggers will be present to manage traffic flows
- Local access to driveways will be maintained
Work includes removing existing barrier and asphalt, and cutting access for construction of the noise walls.

24/7 Impacts
Monday, Feb. 12 to Saturday, Feb. 17 - W. 6th Ave Frontage Road on-ramp to eastbound US 6 - 24/7 closure till early fall
- A 24/7 closure of the Frontage Road on-ramp to eastbound US 6 at Carr St. will begin on Monday night and remain in place until early fall, with detour signage routing motorists to access eastbound US 6 at the interchange
- The full closure was previously scheduled to begin on Friday, Feb. 9
- The closure is necessary to maintain safety during noise wall and auxiliary lane construction
- All construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change

General Impacts, Schedule & Scope of Work
- The project began in late January and has an anticipated completion date of January 2025
- Periodic overnight lane and ramp closures will be taken on eastbound U.S. Highway 6 between Carr Street and the Wadsworth Blvd. interchange during certain work activities
- These single overnight lane closures on eastbound US 6 will be in place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays and 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. on weekends, as needed
- A 24/7 closure of the Frontage Road on-ramp to eastbound US 6 at Carr St. is in place until early fall, with traffic detoured to the Wadsworth interchange to enter eastbound US 6
- Daytime weekday block to block closures along the Frontage Road from Meadowlark Drive to the Wadsworth Blvd off-ramp will exist, with minor detours in place to adjacent side streets
- Working hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday
- Flaggers will be present on the Frontage Road as needed during working hours and local access will be maintained
- The project limits on US 6 extend from MP 280.36 to MP 280.84
- The project limits on the Frontage Road south of US 6 extend from just west of Meadowlark Drive to the Wadsworth Blvd off-ramp
- Work on the auxiliary lane and noise walls will progress west to east
- The project limits on Wadsworth Blvd extend from Highland Drive to 4th Ave or MP 12.21 to MP 12.66
- Some overnight and weekend work can be expected later in the project
- This state and federally funded project is the third of a five-phase project to reconstruct the US 6 & Wadsworth Interchange
- This phase is designed to enhance pedestrian connectivity and mitigate traffic noise
- Construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change
