Please be advised of the following lane closures, restrictions and planned work for next week for the I-70 over Ward Road Bridge Replacement project in Jefferson County.

General Traffic Impacts - Nov. 26 to Dec. 2
Sunday, Nov. 26 to Thursday, Nov. 30 - I-70 at Ward Road - no planned overnight lane closures
- No overnight lane closures are planned on I-70 within the project limits
- Periodic lane closures may be added for equipment mobilization and access to the site
- Stakeholders will be apprised of any changes to the schedule
- The project limits are confined to Mile Point 266.5 (Exit 266 Ward Road) to MP 265 (Exit 265 CO 58/Golden)
- A traffic shift is in place on westbound I-70
- Lanes are narrowed and caution is advised

Monday, Nov. 27 to Friday, Dec. 1 - both directions of Ward Rd/CO 72 under I-70 - various lane closures
- Single lane closures switching to double lane closures will exist Monday to Friday in both directions of Ward Road/CO 72 under I-70
- The lane closures will be taken from approx. 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Periodic overnight lane closures may also exist from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- The closure limits are confined to MP 0 (44th Ave) to MP .25 (just east of the I-70 interchange)
- Sidewalk access is limited and caution is advised
- Flaggers, signs and construction devices are present to manage traffic
- The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change
Work includes excavating an abutment, forming and pouring a structure wall, forming and pouring pier columns, excavating and pouring an MSE wall leveling pad, and driving piles.
