I-70 over Ward Road Bridge Replacement

Revised Traffic Impacts - July 30 to Aug. 5

• A single lane closure will be taken on eastbound I-70
• The closure will be in place from 3:30 a.m. to 6 a.m.
• The closure limits are confined to Mile Point 266.5 (Exit 266 Ward Road) to MP 265 (Exit 265 CO 58/Golden)
• This scheduled closure is weather and supply dependent and subject to change

• A single left lane closure will be taken on eastbound I-70
• The closure will be in place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• The closure limits are confined to Mile Point 266.5 (Exit 266 Ward Road) to MP 265 (Exit 265 CO 58/Golden)
• This scheduled closure is weather and supply dependent and subject to change

• A single left lane closure will be taken on both westbound and eastbound I-70
• The closures will be in place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• The closure limits are confined to Mile Point 266.5 (Exit 266 Ward Road) to MP 265 (Exit 265 CO 58/Golden)
• These scheduled closures are weather and supply dependent and subject to change

• Daytime single lane closures switching to double lane closures will exist in both directions of Ward Road/CO 72 under I-70
• The closure limits are confined to MP 0 (44th Ave) to MP .25 (just east of the I-70 interchange) 
• The closures will be in place from approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
• Sidewalk access is limited and caution is advised
• Signs and construction devices are present to manage traffic 
• All construction schedules are weather and work dependent and subject to change

• A single lane closure will exist on southbound Ward Road/CO 72 under I-70 from 4 a.m. to approx. 7 a.m.
• Double lane closures will be in place on southbound Ward Rd/CO 72 from 7 p.m. on Wednesday to 6 a.m. on Thursday
• The closure limits are confined to MP 0 (44th Ave) to MP .25 (just east of the I-70 interchange) 
• Sidewalk access is limited and caution is advised
• Signs and construction devices are present to manage traffic 
• All construction schedules are weather and work dependent and subject to change

• A double right lane closure will exist on southbound Ward Road/CO 72 under I-70 from 6 p.m. to approx. 7 a.m.
• The closure limits are confined to MP 0 (44th Ave) to MP .25 (just east of the I-70 interchange) 
• The closures will be in place from approximately 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. 
• Sidewalk access is limited and caution is advised
• Signs and construction devices are present to manage traffic 
• All construction schedules are weather and work dependent and subject to change

Nearby Project Impacts

• Please be advised of occasional early morning (4 a.m. to 6 a.m.) lane closures on eastbound I-70 and intermittent lane closures during daytime and occasionally during overnight hours in both directions of 32nd Ave. below I-70 for this bridge project. 
• The extended project limits are MP 265 Exit 265 (CO 58/Golden) to MP 263 Exit 263 (Colorado Mills Pkwy). 

• Please be advised of ongoing traffic impacts on I-70 at Exit 270 related to the Harlan Street Bridge Replacement & Interchange Improvement project
• Impacts include full periodic closures of the Harlan St. interchange, the on and off ramps to westbound I-70 and other lane and road closures within the project's limits.
• Motorists will be detoured to Wadsworth Blvd to bypass ramp closures

• Please be advised of ongoing lane and shoulder closures associated with this project
• These closures will be in place during overnight and daytime hours
• This project is pending completion
