Doing Business With CDOT

CDOT breaks its procurement practices into two main units: Highway and Bridge Contracts, and Procurement & Contract Services. The Highway and Bridge Contracts unit handles all procurement related to state highway system improvements, while the Procurement & Contract Services unit purchases materials, equipment, and services needed for the day-to-day operation of CDOT.  

Procurement handles purchasing of materials, goods, and services that are necessary for the day-to-day operations of CDOT. Examples include:

CDOT's Consultant Contracts Unit handles procurement of professional services related to roadway design and engineering. These contracts are issued as Requests for Proposals, and include licensed specialties like:

CDOT's Innovative Contracting Unit handles procurement for unique highway projects. Contract types include:
