Bustang Stop moving South

January 29, 2021 - Northwestern Colorado

GRAND JUNCTION — Bustang and Bustang Outrider will be boarding and dropping off passengers at a new location beginning on Monday, Feb. 1.

The relocated stop is next to the Grand Valley Transit Downtown Transfer Facility, along South Avenue, between S. Fifth and Sixth streets, two blocks south of its current location at the Greyhound station. See the new location map here.

“We appreciate the Grand Valley Regional Transportation Committee voting to allow Bustang and Bustang Outrider to relocate our stop,” said Colorado Department of Transportation Senior Manager of Mobility Operations Mike Timlin. “Moving our pick-up and drop-off location to the Grand Valley Transit Downtown Transfer Facility allows us to maintain a close connection to both Grand Valley Transit and the new Greyhound stop, making transit connections easier for all of our riders.”

The new Greyhound stop location is just east of the Bustang stops along South Avenue.

Bustang and Bustang Outrider help further CDOT's multi-modal mission, and fulfill a key responsibility to alleviate congestion and offer more travel choices for longer-distance commuters on the state's urban and rural corridors.
