Snowstang providing service to Copper Cup over holiday weekend
News Release
Denver – Snowstang is teaming up with Copper Mountain, one of its wintertime resort partners, to provide express bus service to the Copper Cup, a free, post-Thanksgiving event featuring men’s and women’s Alpine World Cup races, including men’s super G and giant slalom and women’s giant slalom and slalom events, all finishing in Copper’s East Village.
Direct, roundtrip service will be provided between Denver and Copper Mountain for all three days of the event – Friday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Nov. 30. One bus will run on Friday, with two buses running on Saturday and Sunday. Pick-up and drop-off locations are at Denver Union Station, the Federal Center in Lakewood and the Wooly Mammoth Park-and-Ride lot at Interstate 70 and Morrison Road (Exit 259).
A roundtrip ticket is $25 for adults, $12.50 for those 2 to 11 years old and $18.76 for seniors (65+) and individuals with disabilities.
Another option is Bustang’s West Line and Pegasus. One-way travel for adults between Denver and Frisco is $12 on the West Line and $13 on Pegasus. Passengers can connect to the Summit Stage at the Frisco Transit Center, then take the free, eight-mile trip to Copper Mountain. That service runs every 15 minutes on event days.
