About Federal Boulevard BRT

BRT is a high-capacity, efficient bus service that incorporates elements of light rail such as enhanced stations, all-door boarding, purchasing tickets before riding and in some locations, dedicated bus lanes. The Federal Boulevard BRT project would span as much as 18 miles on Federal Boulevard between Dartmouth and 120th avenues, extending to both the Englewood Park-n-Ride on the south end and the Wagon Road Park-n-Ride on the north end. Preliminary design, engineering and environmental review are scheduled for completion in early 2026. Final design will continue through 2027.

This project is made possible by CDOT in partnership with the Regional Transportation District, Adams County, the City & County of Denver, the Denver Regional Council of Governments and the cities of Englewood, Federal Heights and Westminster.
