Cañon City stop added to Bustang Outrider route

Cañon City — Bustang Outrider is adding Cañon City as a stop on its daily Alamosa—Pueblo bus route beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
The new stop is located at the Gateway Depot, 816 Royal Gorge Blvd. Eastbound buses are scheduled to stop there at 9 a.m. Buses traveling to Alamosa are scheduled to stop at 3:45 p.m. The depot is owned and supported by the Royal Gorge Chamber Alliance Foundation.
In addition to Pueblo and Alamosa, other scheduled stops along the route include Pueblo West, Penrose, Cotopaxi, Salida, Poncha Springs and Moffat.
Outrider’s primary objective is to provide a transportation alternative for travel between rural communities and the state’s larger cities and towns. It includes collaborating with local agencies to ensure Coloradans get reliable bus service, convenient connections and consistent fares.
In addition to the Alamosa – Pueblo route, Outrider provides service along six other routes, including: Craig—Denver, Crested Butte/Gunnison—Denver, Durango—Grand Junction, Lamar—Colorado Springs, Trinidad—Pueblo and Sterling—Denver.
