The Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Strategic Highway Research Program 2 (SHRP2)

The National Traffic Incident Management provides this training, which gives first responders:

  • a shared understanding of the requirements for safe, quick clearance of traffic incident scenes;
  • prompt, reliable and open communication; and
  • motorist and responder safeguards.

First responders learn how to operate more efficiently and collectively.

State & Local Training

Specialized Training

  • TIM Awareness Presentation: CDOT and CSP Statewide TIM Committee representatives continue to present to elected officials and professional service organizations about TIM. Contact San Lee for more information or to schedule a presentation. Presentation content and time is flexible.
  • COtrain: Premier resource for professionals who serve Coloradans
  • I-25: CO Highway 7 to Wyoming (4-hour session)
