Gather enrollment information.
To complete your enrollment, you will need the following information:
- Email address
- Vehicle Identification Number(s) (VIN)
- Current mileage on your vehicle(s)
- License plate(s)
- Vehicle year/make/model/trim
- Activation code
You must complete the enrollment process by Dec. 11, 2016, or we will assign your spot to someone on the waitlist.

Azuga is the account manager for the Colorado Road Usage Charge Pilot Program (RUCPP). Azuga is responsible for:
- providing options to record miles, including any necessary hardware (i.e. mileage reporting devices, if applicable)
- all of the data collection, analysis and processing, and
- financial reports sent to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).
You can choose one of the following three options for your household.
Driving an electric vehicle? You must choose the Odometer Reading option or the GPS-enabled option.
Odometer Reading
(Least Technology)
Enroll now.
See odometer instructions.
Take pictures of your odometer.
Upload a picture of your odometer at least once a month through the app or website.
Consider this option if you:
- Have a vehicle made before 1996. These vehicles may not have the necessary technology to plug into your On-Board Diagnostics II (OBD-II) port, the vehicle’s data port used for emissions and vehicle maintenance.
- Prefer to report your miles manually.
- Drive most/all of your miles in Colorado, since this option will charge based on all miles driven.
Non-GPS-Enabled Mileage-Reporting Device
(Some Technology)
Enroll now.
Install a device that reports your miles.
Plug an Azuga device into your vehicle and forget it! The device will report your mileage and gasoline consumed, but does not assess location.
Consider this option if you:
- Like a "plug it in and forget about it" option.
- Drive most/all of your miles in Colorado, since this option will charge for all miles driven.
- Want some of Azuga's special features: vehicle health, battery voltage and more.
GPS-Enabled Mileage-Reporting Device
(Most Technology)
Enroll now.
Install a GPS-enabled device that reports your miles.
Plug an Azuga device into your vehicle and forget it! The device will use location-based data to calculate total miles driven and only assess a charge for miles driven in Colorado.
Consider this option if you:
- Like a "plug it in and forget about it" option.
- Drive out of state frequently.
- Enjoy seeing per-trip data.
- Want all of Azuga’s special features: visual trip logs, vehicle location, vehicle health, battery voltage, and more
