Project Teams & Working Groups
A critical element of the I-70 Mountain Express Lane planning process was the ability to foster an ongoing dialogue with representatives of the local community by collecting input from key community members and stakeholders alike. Their valuable insight continues to serve as a meaningful resource during the construction phase of the project. Project Leadership and the Technical Teams were formed during the planning phase of the project and will continue to meet periodically through construction to ensure that their concerns are addressed throughout the remainder of the project. In addition, issue-specific task forces (e.g. Exit 241 Interchange reconfiguration) have and will continue to meet.
