CO 13 Reconstruction in Rio Blanco County

Re-striping in Spring or Summer 2021

The project is complete, as of December 2020; CDOT crews will return in the spring or summer, weather permitting, to restripe this section for passing zones.

Schedule

• This work was completed in two seasons
• The project began June 2019 and was suspended for the winter between November 2019 and April 2020
• Work was completed in December 2020

• Concrete reconstruction and minor widening
• Drainage upgrades, including three under-highway corrugated steel drain pipes that were replaced with concrete box culverts
• Embankment safety improvements
• Sight distance improvements
• Wildlife fencing
• New signing and striping
