Starting Monday, May 21, crews on this project began replacing a bridge on Colorado Highway 138 in Ovid, Colorado, in Sedgwick County—just south of the Nebraska border.

Other work includes:

  • paving the highway;
  • upgrading curb ramps to comply with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards; and
  • grading channels near the bridge, and repairing erosion-prevention material (aka, riprap).
