Northbound CO 257 between Crossroads Boulevard and Poudre Trail Drive closed for 20 days starting July 31
Northbound CO 257 will be closed for road reconstruction in the Cache la Poudre River floodplain, between Crossroads Boulevard and Poudre Trail Drive, starting at 7 a.m. on July 31. Northbound CO 257 will reopen on Aug. 21. Southbound CO 257 will remain open. Drivers should plan ahead and seek alternate routes. Both Crossroads Boulevard and Poudre Trail Drive will remain open.
The CO 257 full closure between Eastman Park Drive and Walnut Street remains in effect until Aug. 4.
Any changes to closure schedules will be posted on message boards and on the CO 257 Resurfacing project web page.
Two signed truck detour routes and a local/non-commercial vehicle detour route will be in place.
Local/Non-commercial vehicle detour:
- The detour directs drivers around the west side of the closure using Crossroads Boulevard, 7th Street and 1st Street. This is the same detour that has been in place for the CO 257 full closure north of Eastman Park Drive for the last few weeks.
Truck detour:
- East of CO 257: The detour directs drivers east on US 34 Business to 83rd Avenue, County Road 64 1/2, County Road 64 3/4, then to Eastman Park Drive.
- West of CO 257: The detour directs drivers from CO 257 to Crossroad Boulevard, over to County Road 13/Colorado Boulevard, then to CO 392.
