Public Involvement
CDOT engaged a broad range of stakeholders for the CO 52 PEL/ACP, including local jurisdictions and regional partners. Throughout the course of the study, public event meetings and materials were posted below.
Virtual Public Engagement #1
(Aug. 24 - Sept. 14, 2020)
The online public engagement was an alternative to an in-person meeting that allowed participants to learn about the project status, schedule, existing conditions, purpose & need, and alternatives online and submit questions and comments in a variety of ways. The online public engagement had 808 unique visitors. A summary of public input is forthcoming.
CO 52 PEL / ACP Technical Team
One of the key ways in which the CO 52 PEL / ACP connected with community-specific issues and interests was through on-going work and meetings with the Technical Team. The Technical Team was made up of local government staff from Boulder County, Dacono, Erie, Fort Lupton, Frederick, Hudson, Keenesburg, and Weld County.
Quarterly Updates
It was important for the CO 52 PEL / ACP to keep interested stakeholders updated on what was going on during the project. An ongoing way we did this was with our quarterly email updates below.

The online public engagement was an alternative to an in-person meeting that allowed participants to learn about the project status, alternatives evaluation, access recommendations, and segment recommendations online and submit questions and comments in a variety of ways. The online public engagement had 1,041 unique visitors.
