Project Overview

Beginning December 2019, travelers on a small stretch of Lincoln Street (aka, Colorado Highway 96) in Pueblo—from W. Orman to W. Abriendo avenues—will see improvements to the traffic signals and drainage system.

Completed work includes:

  • replacing three signals at Abriendo, Evans and Orman avenues;
  • replacing curb ramps to comply with Americans With Disabilities Act standards;
  • modifying the median at Abriendo Avenue to accommodate a southbound double-left-turn lane; and
  • replacing the drainage system at Abriendo Avenue.
