CO 7 Stronger Than Ever Reopening Event | CDOT’s Final 2013 Flood Recovery Project

Join the Colorado Highway 7 Lower Project team as they celebrate the reopening of the final 2013 flood recovery project. At the event, you will hear from various project representatives, learn what construction remains through November 2022 and all of the flood recovery efforts in the region. Following the speaking portion of the event, the public will have the opportunity to take a sneak peek of the project by van before the road reopens prior to Memorial Day or by bike before the road reopens to cyclists in November 2022. Pre-registration for the event is required.

Location: Mile Point 29 on CO 7 (about three miles west of Hall Ranch) 
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Event Schedule

  • 8:30 a.m. - Check-in
  • 9 a.m. - Speaking portion begins
  • Bike and van tour will immediately begins following the speaking portion

Parking and Event Check-In:

  • Parking and event check-in information will be emailed to participants prior to the event on May 26. Please watch for an email from our project team.
  • Signage and project representatives will be in the area to direct you to the event. Ride sharing is highly encouraged for event attendees.
  • Pre-registration for the event is required. Bike and van tours will begin at approximately 10 a.m. Van tours will take place during the event. Two vans will be on site and each van accommodates 12 people.

Note: CO 7 is reopening to motor vehicles only on Memorial Day. After the event, all bike access will remain closed through project completion in November 2022.
